Paper Submissions
HPC 2008 is using the JEMS Conference Management System, provided by SBC (Brazilian Computing Society) to manage the paper submission and review processes. The access address is:
HPC access to JEMS ("https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=751")
In order to submit a contribution, please follow this three-step process:
- Author registration: You must first create a JEMS account for each author of a paper. However, this is only required for people who has not used the JEMS system before. If you already have a JEMS account, which has been created when previously submitting a contribution to another Conference, Workshop or Journal, please do not generate another account. Each user must have a unique ID in the system. If an author does not recall his password, she/he can login using her/his e-mail information and leave the password field without being completed. In such a case, the system will e-mail the corresponding password to the user.
Those authors who create a new account will receive an e-mail containing their user ID numbers and the password generated by the system, which can be changed afterwards. As a prospective contributor you will need to login to JEMS using the password you have received by email.
- Paper registration: It is done in the submission homepage. Click on the "submit paper" image to submit a new paper, or select an existing submission to edit it. When entering a new contribution, please fill in the details of the paper and provide information regarding co-authors as well as the person to whom correspondence should be sent. Please, choose the topics that apply to your paper (maximum 3) and enter the abstract (minimum 50 characters). Finally, click on the submit button to actually register your contribution.
- Paper Upload: This can be done by using the provided form. The contribution must comply with the requirements established in the call for papers. You may choose not to upload a file immediately. You may upload a new version of your file at any time (prior to submission deadline) by returning to the JEMS system. Once you login, a list of submitted papers will be made available. Click on the upload image to upload a new version of your paper.
